What's in the [blend]?
Turmeric, and its main active ingredient Curcumin, has been used for thousands of years in Chinese and Indian Ayurvedic medicine for a long list of health conditions including arthritis, joint pain, heartburn, stomach bloating, colds, fibromyalgia and depression. It is believed to have exceptional anti inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial properties.
Cinnamon adds a sweet aroma to our blend and is thought to lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease risk factors such as cholesterol and blood pressure and also acts as an antioxidant.
Green Tea is packed full of nutrients and powerful antioxidants which can reduce the formation of free radicals in the body, protecting cells and molecules from damage. It is thought to affect various brain functions, improving your mood, attention, reaction time and memory. And, if that’s not enough it is thought to be able to boost fat loss and increase your metabolic rate.
Papaya is commonly used to aid digestion, it has been shown to improve constipation, bloating and other symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, thanks to the presence of papain a digestive ‘super-enzyme’.
[MCT from Coconut Oil]
MCT simply stands for Medium-Chain Triglycerides, otherwise known as ‘good fats’, which are thought to bring a lorryload of health benefits! MCTs are used by your body for energy rather than being stored as fat, meaning they aid in weight loss. MCTs have been shown to improve brain function, including memory, increase energy levels and improve your athletic performance. They can combat harmful bacteria, viruses and funghi.
Tapioca contains members of the vitamin B-complex and is also a rich source of dietary fibre, protein and “good” cholesterol. It can increase circulation and your red blood cell count at the same time as helping to lower cholesterol. It can even reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes.
Ginger is closely related to turmeric and has also been used for years in natural and traditional medicine, often used to aid digestion and reduce nausea. It is rammed with powerful nutrients and bioactive compounds to benefit for your body and brain. Some studies suggest it can lower blood sugar levels and improve various heart disease risk factors.
Black Pepper increases the bio-availability of the Turmeric, slowing down the digestion of the curcumin, ensuring the absorption rates are increased … all in all, this helps your body get the very best from the turmeric!
Along with that, black pepper can offer its own array of health benefits including relief from respiratory issues, anemia, weight management. The antibacterial properties of black pepper helps the body to fight against infections.
Magnesium is a really nice addition to the blend and has a number of benefits. These include the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, contribution to normal functioning of the nervous system, muscle function, maintenance of bones and teeth and more. Pretty good stuff.
Stevia is a natural sugar, adding a slightly sweeter taste to the blend. It can help to lower your blood pressure, assist with weight control and has a positive impact on your metabolism.
This list of ingredients when blended together add up to something greater than the sum of their parts.
At this point we need to make it clear that we do not offer medical advice, nor do we want to make bold claims that all of our ingredients are magic. We recommend that you do your own research, or speak to a healthcare professional if you wish to learn more. You may be wondering if this product will improve any specific ailments that you have and that is a difficult question to answer as everyone is different (thankfully).
